The KwaZulu Natal region has had its fair-share of conflicts over the past 2 centuries. Tours to the various battlefields are conducted by professional guides who have an intimate knowledge of how, where and why these conflicts happened.
Tours can be arranged with local historical guides to specific areas of interest. Fees vary according to the duration of the tour.
We recommend a visit to the Ladysmith Museum which is an excellent reference point for all those interested in the area's history. Ladysmith was under siege for 118 days during the Anglo-Boer War.
